Our goal here at the Storehouse is to be an inclusive, welcoming space for everyone in Penicuik. We offer a warm and inviting space to: 

- relax - 

- enjoy a drink or some food (free of charge, using our community-funded Pay-It-Forward scheme)-

- borrow a book -

- hold or participate a get-together, meeting or class -

- join our community meal -

Pay It Forward

Community is all about helping each other out. If you are in need of a hot drink or a soup, or you would like to provide that for someone else, please take advantage of our Pay it Forward tokens.

TO USE A TOKEN:

  • Take a token from the dish at the till

  • Order your hot drink, soup or porridge as usual

  • Pay using the token

TO BUY A TOKEN:

  • Let the till assistant know you would like to purchase a Pay it Forward token

  • Pay £2.50

  • Put the token you are given into the dish
